Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has reiterated his commitments towards ensuring that the governorshop candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement ( APM), Hon. Adekunle Akinlade succeeds him in May 29, 2019.
He also  promised that he would never work for Dapo Abiodun, whom he alleged stole Akinlade’s mandate in the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Amosun said that God would never be happy with him if he supported Dapo Abiodun and other Ogun APC candidates contesting with ‘stolen mandates’.
The governor, who spoke during a meeting with his loyalists, held at the Presidential Lodge, Ibara Housing Estate, Abeokuta, added that hemwas not the type to hide under a finger.
Amosun, who said  Akinlade had his blessings to pursue his mandate under APM, added that he was contesting the Ogun Central Senatorial seat under the APC for the sake of President Muhammadu Buhari’s reelection.
While, appealing to his loyalists to vote for Buhari as the President and Akinlade as the governor of Ogun, the outgoing governor, charged the  APC leadership not to see his support for Buhari as an endorsement of their “illegal candidate”.
