WASSCE: OGUN RANKS 19TH NATION-WIDE, 4TH IN SOUTH WEST

Ogun State ranks 19th among  others states, including Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, (FCT) in the just released  2018 West African Senior School Certificate Examination results.


The state also came 4th, behind Ondo State, with Lagos State and Ekiti, leading as  first and second respectively within the South West geo-political zone of the country.Oyo State, the acclaimed pacesetter state, which was rated 26th nationwide, came 5th  while Osun State, which was rated 29th among other states,  was the 6th within the Yoruba-speaking stafes.Abia, Anambra, Edo and Rivers states came 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively in the school ranking.Abuja came 14th, while Borno State came 25th and the least performed  state , which came 37th in the country is  Yobe. Sokoto, the acclaimed seat of the Sultanate came 30, while Kastina State, the home state of President Muhammadu Buhari came 33rd, leading Gombe, Jigawa and Zamfara state.
