Ogun State All Progressives Congress, (APC) Caretaker Chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi, has inaugurated the state 22 local government chairmen of the party.
While inaugurating them in Abeokuta, the state capital, the APC chairman charged them to prepare for council polls as well as bring more people into the fold.
Sanusi, in a statement by APC Publicity Secretary in the state, Tunde Oladunjoye appealed to the new caretaker chairmen to work for unity and progress of the party.
While appealing to them to work for unity and progress of the party, he asked them to operate open door policy that will strengthening the party in their respective council areas.
His words: “I charge you to move round your leaders and bring everyone on board. Remember we are starting soon, our party’s membership revalidation and registration.
‘’All those who present themselves for registration must be registered regardless of whether they have left the party in the past or not”, Sanusi said.
Sanusi, reminded them that there would be the congress of the party in the first half of the year.
“It therefore important that we work together as one to be able to confront our political opponents in the future”, he added.
The inauguration was attended by party leaders from the three senatorial districts of the state.
