POLICE ARREST 59 YR-OLD PASTOR FOR DEFILING 10- YR-OLD GIRL

A 59yr old pastor of Light Christian Church Odeda Oketokun,  Abiodun, who reportedly had carnal knowledge of a ten-year old girl (name withheld) has been arrested by men of  the Ogun State Police Command .
         Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, in a statement said the pastor, who  forcefully  had unlawful carnal knowledge of the girl was arrested following a report by the father of the victim.
The victim’s father  was said to have reported at the Odeda Police Station that the suspect lured his daughter, who  was  playing with other children to his room where he allegedly pushed her onto his bed.
He also disclosed  that the suspect, before having intercouse with his daughter, cover her  mouth with his hands.
         Upon the report, the DPO Odeda Division, Csp Ajayi Williams, a Chief Superintendent of Police detailed his detectives to the scene where the randy pastor was promptly arrested.
Oyeyemi added: ”On interrogation, the pastor owned up to the commission of the crime and he is currently being detained at Odeda police station; while the victim has been taken to General hospital Odeda for medical attention”.       Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Kenneth Ebrimson , has ordered the transfer of the suspect to  the Anti-human Trafficking and Child Labour unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation and prosecution.
