NEW OGUN HoS CHARGES ASSEMBY WORKERS ON SERVICE ETHICS, DILIGENCE

The newly appointed Ogun State Head of Service, Engr. Olanrewaju Bisiriyu, has urged the members of staff of the State House of Assembly to remain committed to the ethics of the service.
This he said could be achieved through loyalty, dedication and promotion of standard in all their activities for the state to maintain its pride of place in the comity of States in the country.
Bisiriyu, who spoke during the new year prayer and farewell message as the immediate past Clerk of the Assembly at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta noted that civil and public servants are essential to the implementation of laudable government policies and programmes. 
“As civil servants, we should remain steadfast by demonstrating a high level of readiness and commitment to work. We should remain supportive to the government in sustaining the massive social and infrastructural developments being put in place by the Senator Ibikunle Amosun – led administration”, he remarked.
According to him, hard work always have reward at the appointed time, hence there was need for all workers to be deligent, focused and continue to abide by the public service rules and regulations.
He prayed for the continued peace, progress and development of the state and nation, saying that workers should continue to play their roles to achieve the success of the rebuilding missoon of the state.
 Bisiriyu, thanked the workers for their support and also used the opportunity to bid them farewell from the Assembly as he  assumes another level in his career as the new HoS.
Commending the present administration for ensuring massive socio-economic development of the state, the new HoS also thanked the state government for its commitment to  workers’ welfare.
Responding on behalf of the workers, Alhaji Nureni Rabiu, lauded the clerk for his leadership style which he opined had impacted greatly on the workers, adding that the entire workers of the legislative wished him success in his new appointment.
