Irolu, in Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State,  will this weekend be agog as it celebrates its 35th Annual Agan-un Day Festival.
The annual cultural gathering of sons and daughters of the ancient Remo town  is meant  to foster unity and progress among indigenes and non natives.
The one week long ceremony which kicked off last Sunday, usually herald home-coming of her natives across the country and in Diaspora, with series of activities and programmes aimed at developing the town.
The celebration also provides opportunity for commissioning and launching projects implemented by groups and individuals for the growth of Irolu.
The Onirolu of Irolu, Oba Sikiru Adeilo Adeyiga, also uses the period of the festival to bestow chieftancy titles on deserving sons and daughters of the town.
