Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, has described the return of Dr. Kayode Fayemi as the governor of the Ekiti State, as the dawn a new era of great development in the state.
Addressing journalists after the inauguration of Fayemi in Ado Ekiti yesterday, Amosun said he was happy for the governor and happier for the people of Ekiti State, for joining the progressives.
According to the governor, Fayemi was well equipped and knows what to do to move the state forward.
Present at the ceremony were the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr. Boss Mustapha, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as well as former National Chairmen of the party, Chief Bisi Akande and Chief John Odigie-Oyegun.
Also in attendance were Governors, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode (Lagos), Senator Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo), Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu (Ondo), Alhaji Abubakar Bagudu (Kebbi), Mallam Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna) and Mr. Simon Lalong (Plateau).
There were also other eminent Nigerians amd foreigners, who attended the ceremony.
