An Ogun-based group, Ogun Youth Assembly (OYA), has thrown  its weight behind the  governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ogun State, Prince  Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, saying he is “the best man suited for the job”.

National Coordinator and the Coordinating Secretary of OYA,Oyedele Malumba and Adekunle Oshidipe, during a press conference in Abeokuta, the state capital said  the private sector background of Isiaka including the group Managing Director of the Gateway Holdings will help him steer the ship of the state to the Promised Land.

The group expressed optimism that GNI will tackle  the rising challenges of unemployment, decay in public institutions and neglect of the semi-urban and rural areas in the state.

“Having traversed the length and breadth of the 236 wards and twenty local government areas of the state twice,  GNI is the best man suited to return the lost glory of public institutions, be it school or health centres.

“As a product of Nazareth High School, Imeko to the then Ogun State Polytechnic and later the Obafemi Awolowo University as a first class graduate, the answers to the problems of fading public institutions is up his sleeves” OYA said.

To promote the spirit of equity, fairness and justice, the group appealed to the Ogun East and Ogun Central senatorial districts, to support the  Ogun West candidate in the person of Isiaka.
