Take care of your parents

The Nigerian Ambassador-designate, Chief Sarafadeen Tunji Isola, has charged Nigerians to take good care of their parents, while they are still alive.
Isola, who is also the Baba Adinni of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta states, spoke during the 8th day fridau for the mother of the wife of veteran media practitioner and former editor of the Punch, Alhaji Najeem Jimoh.
‘’The success of any man or woman lies on God, the creator of Heaven and Earth and his or her parents. Hence, we must take care of them while they are still alive, particularly during their old age. We must also continue to remember them through prayers and Zadaqat after their deaths’’, he said
While praying for the repose of the soul of the deceased, Isola also charged the children of Alhaja Wasilat Abeje Idowu Ajala, to always remember their mother in prayers.
One of the sons-in-law of the deceased, Alhaji Najeem Jimoh, described her late mother in law as a mother in a million.
‘’She was a rare mother to us all, both to her biological, non-biological and others. We will all mis her greatly.
Chief Imam of Oyo, Sheikh Moshood Adebayo, who was among the Islamic clerics who conducted the prayers also charged Muslims to always prepare for death, saying that all souls must taste death.
Among the children, of the late Alhaja Ajala are Alhaja Kharijat Aveun Abdulazeez Sobeyi, Alhaja Fstimat Omotumde Adunni Jimoh, Mr. Nurudeen Alowonle Akanji Ajala amd Alhaja Ashiata Omotunde Alake Olayiwola among grand and great grand children.
The ceremony held at LUKJIM Suite & Garden, Olomore-Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, with the Ajala, Sobeyi, Jimoh and Olayiwola families entertaining members, friends, associates and professional colleagues among others.
