Owu to celebrate Oba Dosunmu’s life with prayers and other events

A 3-day programmes have been lined up as part of passage rites for the late Olowu of Owu- Abeokuta, Oba Olusanya Adegboyega Dosunmu, Amororo II.

The late monarch joined his ancestors on December 15, 2021 after a colossus reign of 16 years.

Among the programmes is the day of tributes & theatre celebration at Oba Odeleye Park, Sokori, Abeokuta on Friday, January 21, 2022.
4p.m.

Saturday, January 22, will be a day of prayers by religious groups and entertainment of invited guests and other people at the same late Oba Oba Odeleye Park; beginning 12 mid -day

A thanksgiving service on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the Mainland Independent Baptist Church, Ago Owu, Abeokuta at 10 a.m. is strictly a family affair.

A reception is also slated for the Abeokuta Sports Club, Ibara Housing Estate, Abeokuta.
