As part of activities marking his 25th coronation anniversary, Oba (Dr) Jacob Olufemi Omolade, Lafa II, Olubara of Ibara Kingdom has installed 6 new Baales to superintend their communities under Ibara Kingdom.

During the installation which held at his palace in Ibara, Oba Omolade charged the new Baales to always strive to foster peace, unity and development in their respective domains.

He noted that development could only be achieved in a peaceful environment.

The newly installed Baales were Chief Solomon A. Fagbemi, Baale of Bosero; Chief Oyeleye Alao, Baale of Koto-Aro; Chief Adeyinka Abdul- Rasheed Babatunde, Baale of Igu-Ejo; Chief Kamorudeen Rasheed Agbogunleri, Baale of Aro-Orepo; Chief Sunday Oluwagbemiga Akinlotan, Baale of Alapata;and Chief Kayode Akanji Akintunde, Baale of Okoko all within the jurisdiction of Ibara Kingdom.

The Baales were individually introduced to the Olubara -in-Council and well-wishers at the historical event by Chief Lukmon Akinola Akindele, Akogun of Ibara Kingdom

They also took oath of office and allegiance under the supervision of Chief Oloyede Monsuru Adebayo, Apena of Ibara Kingdom collectively pledging their loyalty and commitment to the upliftment of Ibara and her people home and abroad.

Certificates of office were issued to the new Baales by the Olubara in the presence of dignitaries including Ibara Council of Baales, under the chairmanship of Chief (Major), (retd), S.O. Adejinmi, Baale of Ope- Oluwa, Ita-Oshin.

Others at the ceremony included Chief Adebowale Abiodun, Bababalaje of Ibara Kingdom; Ahaji Tajudeen Fakorede, Chief Imam of Ibara Kingdom, Baales and others.
