I’ll be fair to all – Abiodun

Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun has assured the people of the state that he will not be partial in the distribution of dividend of democracy to all the three senatorial districts in the state.

He was reacting to the rumours milling round that he would develop Ogun East Senatorial District to the detriment of Ogun Central and Ogun West districts.

The governor made this known on Saturday in Abeokuta, the state capital during his investiture as the honourary Grand Patron of the Abeokuta Club.

He also reinstated his commitment to the continuation and completion of all the ongoing people-oriented projects embarked upon by his predecessor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun.

“I want to restate here that my administration will not develop a section of the state at the expense of other zones. I sincerely intend to stick to my campaign promises that I would run an equitable, fair, just, transparent and accountable government.

“I am also determined to continue and complete all the projects, which have direct and meaningful impact on the lives of our people. To demonstrate my sincerity,  our government just recently inaugurated the first TechY Hub in Abeokuta, using an abandoned project constructed for another purpose.

“Work will soon commence on the expansion of the ever-busy Obantoko Road as well as the reconstruction of the Elite Road, both in Abeokuta. Also, plans have reached the final stage on the building of 200 low income and 50 mid to high income housing units in Ibara and across the Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta. These are few of the projects our administration plan to execute in Ogun Central”, he stated.

The event was attended by the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, the Agura of Gbagura, Oba Saburee Babajide Bakre and the  life patron of the club, Chief  Tunde Abudu among other dignitaries.
