For me, music is not about fame or money, it is more of passion – Saffiya

Call her a chip of the old buck, you may not be totally wrong. At least, youthful Shefiat Oyindamola Adekunle, who likes to be addressed with her stage name, Saffiya has proved this by taking after her iconic father in area of music.

She is the daughter of the Abeokuta-based Fuji maestro, Shefiu Alao, (a.k.a. Baba Oko), who recently released an album titled:” Opinions” which currently dominates the air wave.

A graduate of the prestigious Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, where she studied International Law and Diplomacy, Saffiya, who sings Rhythm and Blues as well as hi-hop admitted that she had actually realised her long-time ambition of being an artiste.
