Catfish farmers’ convention holds November in Abeokuta

Catfish farmers across the country, under the aegis of Catfish Farmers Association of Nigeria (CAFAN), will next November converge on Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital for their 2021 National Convention.

The 3-day event, which will include launching, exhibition, award as well as Gala Night will hold between November 11 – 13 this year at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), in the gateway capital.

CAFAN’s grand patron/founder is former president and renowned farmer, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, who will be the chief host of the convention.

The National President of CAFAN, Mr. Onoja Sunday Musa, in a statement, expressed gratitude to the Ogun State Chairmen of the association, Mr. Samuel Olubodun, Adewolu David and Steve Okeleji of Aquatic Hub and others for their efforts so far on the forthcoming convention.

He assured members of the association and other stakeholders of memorable convention.

“All machineries will be put in place to make the outing worthy of an international standard and by God’s grace”, he said.
