Buhari approves Isola’s posting as Nigeria’s High Commissioner to UK

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the posting of forrmer Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Chief Sarafa Tunji Isola to the United Kingdom as Nigeria’s High Commissioner.

Isola, who was secretary to the state government, under the Otunba Gbenga Daniel, was among other names released over the weekend.

The Oke Ona Egba-born political master strategist and consummate administrator turned 60 last November.

He is currently the Baba Adeen of Ogun State as well as Baba Adinni of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta states among other titles.

A masters degree holder in Business Administration, from University of Ilorin, was a former lecturer at the Federal College of Education, Katsina State.

He has been chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun State as well as special assistant to the late minister for finance (state), Alhaji Jubril Martins Kuye and has attended many international conferences and seminars.
